I know that the latter is true because I also run a busy mail and web
server and will feel a whole lot more relaxed tomorrow morning!

However, I have only found one Y2K bug on any of the major news sites - it
comes from South Korea whose police force are claimed to have sent out 140
summons with the date set to 1900.....

Otherwise it seems that the countries representing over 3 billion of the
world`s people have rolled over with no reported Y2K bug incident at
all....even the international phone network didn`t fall over through
massive demand.

It seems a bit odd to me that _nothing_ is being reported, but just maybe
the human race should pat itself on the back on this one....just _maybe_
the global infrastructure is more resilliant than previously recognised...

While I`m here writing this, here is my personal Y2K prophecy - this year
someone will demonstrate a working free-energy gravity based device......

Happy New Year everyone!
