Got a 2000 card from old friend Phil Thomas announcing
his Cayce website at;
Phil has made the conference rounds over the years
promoting some of the Cayce devices as revealed from
the trance sessions.
They are quite interesting and Phil manufactures and
sells the Radial appliance which uses a kind of
galvanic current to stimulate and ennervate the cells.
I don't mean to slam Cayce but I did some research
into such devices and found one very similar to
Cayce's which was patented by a Japanese doctor (I
think he was a doctor) in 1925 which gave a list of
quite profound effects.
Among them, as I recall, increased blood flow in the
body, flushing and sweats, a diuretic effect, an
increase in energy and other biological effects which
were described as intense, easily measurable.
Apparently use of this machine helped to heal many
conditions since it was a global treatment.
The patent describes the device construction as
requiring a mineral, whose name I don't recall, but it
could be used to make an explosive and thus was not
available. Though it could be gotten in small
quantities.
This mineral was setup in a chamber much like Cayces
appliance and preceded his description by several
years so I hate to say it, but it could well be that
Cayce knew of it and 'wended' it into his reading OR
in the hopes that he didn't know, that the trance
source had a simpler version, apparently less
effective since I didn't see such profound effects
described by use of Cayce's machine.
I'll have to dig out that patent and scan it in as
well as send it to Phil. The device using that
mineral could not be sold because the mineral in these
paranoid days would make you a potential 'terrorist',
but I would love to experiment with it BECAUSE it has
such measurable effects.
In the superb experiments of Chandra Jagadis Bose and
Gustave LeBon, we are teased with indications of
unusual sensitivities and effects of certain metals or
combinations thereof. That there could be a special
current generated that would perhaps be comprised of
specific frequencies or unknown palliative effects
that would benefit and heal a body (and there is
always the opposite effect of damage with other
currents).
There is either much we are deluded with (hard to
believe if there ARE profound physical effects when
you have no idea what to expect when attaching to such
a machine), or much we don't yet comprehend with
nature.
I tend to believe that it would be difficult for
cellular responses to be fooled so that to me
indicates there would be something really caused by
the device.
