Hi Folks!

The following information is courtesy of Dan LaRochelle.
YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THE VIDEO CLIP! It is about 950KB but
well worth it as it shows a cone shaped piece of paper being
REPELLED by a stack of magnets. Quite amazing!

Dan writes the following additional information;

Important Note:

The magnet wire wrapped around the three rings is needed on
the Mini 3 Cone device for it to work! The wire is placed in
the space between each of the disc magnets on the rings. The
wire is wrapped TWICE around (between each magnet) on the
steel banding for the rings. The top and bottom rings are
wrapped in the same manner and the middle ring on the device
is wrapped in an opposite manner than the top and bottom
ring. I hope this makes sense to everyone!

I have included "Shape Power", "New Projects" and added
addition information (a drawing) in the construction
section.

If you study the .AVI file of the paper cones being repelled
by the disc magnets you will see that this happens when
trying to "VERTICALLY ALIGN" the paper cone! This goes along
with what Justin is reporting with his successful
duplication of this shape power experiment.

It is my hope that someone will try and duplicate what has
been done EXACTLY and achieve a successful validation!

And the following email from Justin to Dan which he kindly
shares for duplication efforts;

Hi, Hasn't anyone else tried the paper pyramid experiment?
I played with it a bunch last night. It is totally amazing.
I was really conservative in my first report about it
because my dad wasn't sure it was actually doing something.
Later I showed it to my mom. She said that something weird
was happening, and told my dad to try again.

He had just set it in once before. Now both of them have
confirmed that there is some kind of repulsion there. So now
that I know I am not completely crazy, I want you all to try
this. It only takes 5 minutes and is really cool. The more I
play with it the more I can feel it fighting.

Handle it lightly so you can feel the forces pushing it
around. The original experiment uses bigger magnets, and so
they are stronger. But these Radio Shack disc magnets work
great. I also made a cone to try.

I made the radius 48.5 mm, and cut 256 degrees, and wrapped
it into a cone. It works good too, although it is easier to
get it to stay standing if you get it in just right. I also
put some little NIB disc magnets on the ring magnet stack.

Their diameter was the same as the thickness of the ring.
That boosted the effect even more. This is all too
fascinating, paper repelling a magnet. My dad can't believe
it, but admits that something is indeed happening.

I think that this experiment is highly significant to
relationship between geometry and the magnetic and how it
all comes together in the Hamel device. The triangles to cut
out measure 59 mm at the base, and 48.5 mm high, and they
don't have to be perfect (mine sure aren't). A small stack
of Radio Shack ring magnets (3-5), and you are set.

Lightly set the pyramid in the hole of the magnet. You can
feel it resisting. It will fall over unless you get it in
just right. The weird thing is that it repels either North
or South of the magnet. The paper pyramid acts more like a
super-conductor than a magnet. But it is not stable
repulsion like a super-conductor. The vortexing of aether is
the cause of the magnetic fields, and the pyramid power.

Perhaps these aether vortexes are repelling each other? It
hardly matters, the important thing is that it does work.

Anyone else who discovers anything else about this little
phenomenon please let me know so I can add it. The section
wouldn't be ready for a little bit because I am working on a
site restructering of the Hamel section and my log book, and
I want to get it finished and uploaded first.
