When I was working as a co-op student at a nuclear plant, the cables from
the generators to the switch yard were 3 storeys up, surrounded by a big
fence.. with security cameras and motion sensors..

No chance for experimenting there! Just out of curiosity, what kind of power
station is it? (coal/nuclear/hydroelectric/etc)
