Hi everyone,
All the posts on electrolysis and running autos on hydrogen this morning =
has started me thinking again.

For some time now I have been trying to generate Hydrogen on demand in =
useful quantities using electrolysis. In all cases I failed.
The last test I tried was using a system (apparently patented by a guy =
called Meyers) using pulsed high voltage at low amperage, this I think =
failed for lack of information on the components shown in the circuit =
diagrams.Has anyone had any success with this system? or are there other =
ways of producing this gas?

Burning hydrogen as a fuel in an internal combustion is fraught with =
many problems, not the least of these is the high temperatures created. =
There is also the danger of carting around stored quantities.
I recently fitted a system on a diesel truck which allowed small amount =
of hydrogen to be drawn into motor along with the air, I manufactured =
the H using the existing 12 V truck system.
This did show a improvement in economy and pollution, but the system =
drew about 18amps.=20
Any ideas????

have a nice day,
Nigel Howie=20
