Yes, this in fact was my first breakthrough with phenomena. Up to this
point
I had been just collecting any and all data I could find on all types of
phenomena hoping to find some kind of link. I first read about EVP in
OMNI by Mr. Meek. He made the claim that he had built an electronic
device
that could talk to the dead. I figured this fell under phenomena so I=20
got in contact with Mr. Meek and we met. He brought me a copy of the lab
book, notes and audio tape recordings. I read up on what I could find
about
EVP. It seems to be a big thing over in Europe. Much more so than here.=20
There was one man here in the US that was researching it from the
technical
point of view and we also got in contact. One other lady (Serra Essop=20
or something like that. Please don't jump on me if I have misspelled the
name
for I am sure I have) who is also here in the US was doing EVP research
but
nothing technical that I could tell. More of a club type setting.
Anyway,
I was impressed by the audio tape of Mr. Meek for it had two way (Most
EVP
recordings are only voice prints after the fact) real time communication
or what I call FTL communication. As I got into TIME research you will=20
see why I call it such. I found that EVP recordings have a special
imprint
on the tape that can be recognized from normal recordings. I also set up
such equipment as per the lab book to duplicate the experiment. I really
felt I was wasting my time but unless you check out all aspects you
could miss the real Mc Coy. Well, I made some changes based on the
imprints
I found in normal recordings and one night out of the clear decided to
run the test and get it over with so I could go on to other things.=20
Within 10 minutes I had predicted results. I received one word from a
young woman saying the word HELP! Most recordings start out saying help
me or something like that. Only one or two words at a time and nothing
like what Mr. Meek brought me. He had hours of two way communication
with a claimed dead electrical engineer telling the lab tech how to
construct the equipment to produce better quality results. Well, I=20
was impressed to the point that the hair on the back of my neck stood
up all by itself. I've gotten a haircut since then. :) At that point
I studied everything about the set up and what was going on to try and
learn just what I was playing around with. That lead me to my study of
TIME where I am now. I will pass on what properties I found out about
EVP so you will not sabotage your work. Use a new unused tape, use
only one side of the tape, do not turn it over and record on the=20
other side. If you have a small walkman with frequency equalizer on it
use it for playback. Any tape recorder with frequency equalizer is ok
I just had a walkman that has three frequency built in. And I would
suggest just starting out in EVP like everybody else has with the
one word, non real time recordings. This all sounds foolish but what
the heck, give it a try for yourself. All one needs to do is have a
tape recorder and turn it on. Have a background sound like water or
wind or white noise. ( I used thirteen combined frequencies but to
start just use background sound) Tune to a blank spot on the FM or
AM dial and use that in the background. Ask questions and give time
for reply's. You will not hear any replies at the time but when you
play the tape back listen real carefully to the background sound for
any words where there should be no words. If you want to get into the

test. There is something too it all but some people can not accept the
reality when it actually take place. It's a strange world out here.
