Hi All,

I think the results reported from the aluminum rod experiment are being
mis-interpreted. As noticed, the voltage drops off when attached to the
voltmeter - in my opinion the aluminum rod is indeed acting as both a
capacitor and an antennae, picking up EM waves from the ambient surroundi=
ngs -
the rod not being grounded builds up the charge until the voltmeter is
attached. The magnetic tape windings would have almost no effect in prod=
ucing
the charge, and I would bet if removed the aluminum rod would still pick =
up
the measurable voltage reported with the magnetic tape.

Keep plugging!
