uv light/mercury power?

During experimentation with a plastic bottle containing a small amount
of clean mercury it was found that when shaken near a radio receiver
some interference with the signal was occasioned. The interference was
mainfest on all wave bands including VHF(FM) but appeared to be most
pronounced on AM medium and long wave.
No connection was made between the bottle and radio receiver but if
shaken near an external aerial, or for that matter an interior ferrite
aerial the interference was most marked.
I devised a series of experiments to nuderstand the precise nature of
this phenomena but befor I go too deeply into this I ask whether any
person has any knowledge of this. I also ask whether anyone has any
knowledge of any interaction between uv light and mercury that may
produce energy. I believe that it is possible that high energy photons
if focused on mercury molecules may produce an interaction wherby there
may be a disassociation of electrons from thier normal energy bands
within the mercury. Electromagnetic energy being occasioned when the
electron returns to its normal band. I will expand on this at a later
date until then here is food for thought.
'Free energy' must by its very nature be obtained from simple appratus
and from a renewable and natural scource. My experimental theory uses
the following. Light, Mercury, scilica,(glass), copper wire/ aluminium
foil.
I await you comments
