Took a look at this patent and I really doubt that it ever was constructed.
There is no "details" as to this material used for rotatable shields, and
nothing stating efficiency of the output energy versus the input rotating
shaft
energy needed. For my assessment, energy is needed to rotate the shaft
which
has to overcome the torque created by the shield and magnetic field when not
at 90 degrees. Then the output looses energy to move the center "ferrite?"
against the spring action (not 100% recoverable either). How this EVER
got patentant I'll never know! Even has remarks about conservation of
energy
up front in the intro!! Unbelievable that this got throw.
