A friend sent this in regarding soon to come tiny fuel cells to serve as
replacements for batteries. I remember reading something about 30,000
hours of operation on one of the prototypes from a news report, but I
could be wrong about that number. Essentially putting hydrogen under
pressure and forcing it through a membrane to produce current, the
emission is water when the hydrogen combines back with water;
