I believe this would be somewhat akin to using an RF transmitter aand =
the rod would serve as the antenna.
If, for example, your rod was 1 meter long, the resonant freq would be =
300MHz.
if it were 2 meters, the freq would be 150MHz.
so on and so forth.
this should generate the standing wave.

Hi Jerry & All
=20
After reading the mail posted about a gentleman telling a round table =
meeting some years ago about standing waves in a rod creating a null =
zone which produced Anti-Gravity, I find myself thinking of the =
similarity between this and the Caduceus staff of the god Mercury!
The rod being just that, the serpents being the windings to induce the =
standing waves and the wings signifying the power of flight.
=20
Now I know I am not the first person to look at this as an ancient =
message hidden in the symbol because in David Hatcher Childress's book =
Vimana aircraft of ancient India & Atlantis, there is a piece about =
W.D.Clendenon and some drawings regarding his version of a Mercury =
Vortex engine, But perhaps it is not as complex a device as he had =
envisioned with combustion chambers etc.
=20
Has anyone had a go at building one of these rods filled with Mercury =
?
the reason I ask is because I have a ready supply of the stuff from a =
chemical suppliers an wouldn't mind a crack at it, I know of the hazards =
with the stuff but feel confident about its containment the only thing =
i'm not sure about is how to create the standing wave.
=20
If anyone would care to shed some light on how I might do this or tell =
me of any unforeseen lethal side effects of creating a standing wave it =
would be most appreciated.
=20
This is my first post to the list although I have been a long time =
viewer so please forgive any assumptions I might have made they are not =
intended and if I am out of order in anyway please let me know and I =
will do my best to correct them.
