think much of it since 'heat rises';

In one experiment the inside of a hollow aluminum half sphere was
illuminated for 250 seconds with 3500 watts of infrared light. The
observed loss of weight averaged ~3.7 %. Because the experiments related
to the theory are simple and inexpensive, they can be carried out by the
novice as well as the professional..
