The question is how does one make a Ultraviolet, or 193 nm
for that mater, LASER?

As far as I know at this moment it is not a easy task if
possible at all.

Some of the Big Players at making LASERS/LED's and such
would LOVE to have a ultraviolet LASER. That would allow for
doing things like doubling or quadrupling the amount of data
one could put on a CD for one application.

The industry is just now getting a grip on Blue LED light
sources.
