Hi Larry!

Highly compressed air is cold, eh? So how come you can almost burn your
hand on a tank of compressed air...it is expulsion and expansion that
cools...guess I just imagined having to keep our compressor room well
ventilated to keep the tanks and compressors cool....when the air under
pressure rushes through the main feed pipes, it was so hot you couldn't
touch the pipe, and that was only 150psi....so that was empirical
observation of many years on both piston and screw compressors...
