>Hi,
Get it right, in most internal combustion engines the spark fires a few
degrees BTC(before top dead center) this is known as ADVANCING the spark.
Retarding the ignition
is when the spark fires closer to TDC (Top dead center) or after TDC. The
engine will not "lock up", but if the spark is advanced too far the engine
will 'ping' (called preignition.) with a noticable reduction in power output.

Now this *JOE CELL,* has anyone anywhere got proof that this works? or is it
all BS.
After visiting the web page where the complete plans etc. are available, the
footnote says they will not guarantee any results,WHY?
Lots of posts on this subject but I have not seen a genuine case where
someone says
it does. It seems quite obvious, if it works, the power needs of the coming
millenium are well and truly under control and the inventor should be
shouting it out for all the world to hear and not have gone into 'hiding' as
he allegdly has.
All this talk about big corporations going after inventors and hunting them
down is just rubbish, in this day and age it could not happen.

Nigel Howie.
