Water Conversion & Power Generation

Hi everybody.

All this talk of water conversion and the article about the Engine dynamo
has me kind of curious and a possible idea.

Take one Subaru engine ( I got 2 of them ) 1600cc size and do the
hydrogen conversion to run the engine with. Then instead of electromagnets
on the flywheel why not just use 6 large permnant magnets attached the
wheel alla Bendini style and then coils susended from there to pull power
from the rotating magnets.

Considering how clean hydrogen burns the engine should be able to be run
constantly for several thousand hours with out problem.

My other engine choice was a VW Rabbit Diesel and adjust the mechanical
fuel pump timing to run off of hydrogen. This engine could be run without
any external power cause it would fire from compression heat and not
electrical systems.

Anyone know what temperture hydrogen ignites? I might have to up the
compression or just the timing to make it run.
