I believe what is meant is that the hydrogen and carbon monoxide were not
produced with only 7.2 watts of input power, but rather thru (as you have
accurately presented) the current-carrying capacity of the large
back-spikes from the Motor. And yes, you are right when you pointed out
that only 7.2 watts of input power (were EXTERNALLY applied) into the
entire Newman Motor Demonstration.
