A friend of mine have a pain in his knee that is alleviated by a soft
"massage" with a coin-like neodymium magnet for about 10 minutes.
I recommended the "therapy" to my mother, who was suffering from the
same knee pain and she got alleviated after 10 min massage with the
coin-like magnet.
As for polarity, my friend used one magnet, without paying attention to
polarity. For my mother I took two magnets and attached them side-by-side
on a little metal plate. This way the two magnets are in opposing directions,
so I guess the two poles are applied at the same time to the skin.
Another curiosity : I have seen some man on TV saying a doctor put him a little
magnet behind his ear and he was completely alleviated from a spine pain.
