For an experiment I'm planning on starting sometime in the near future,
I'm going to need 12 small magnetic coils.. (about 2" high, 1" diameter,
with the highest flux density(?) possible, while being able to handle
at least 3 amps..)
Can anyone tell me where I could find coils like these? I'd prefer not
to have to make them myself, as I'm not too skilled at winding coils,
but if I can't find a cheap source, I might need to make them..
Of course, it'd be great if some common household appliance or piece
of electronics equipment has coils like that inside it, cause I can
probably get coils like that from an electronics or appliance store
easily..
