Hi Matthew,
I live near a large lake (Lake Huron) in southern Canada, and I'm
in a pretty small town, however the water is still chlorinated..
not to mention all the nasty stuff that gets in the water from the
nearby nuclear station.. there have been 2 reported oil spills, as
well as countless tritium spills.. I'm sad to say that during the
winter of 1995/96, there was a large number of reports of cancer,
including some friends of my family.
I'm not close enough to the lake to supply my own water, but if I
was close enough I might do that.. (I live about 2 blocks away, which is
a bit far to stretch a pipe..) filter it, and maybe use a rife tube on
it to get rid of any bacteria etc. then filter it again.. heh..
ttyl
