A few more comments on the Hamel GMD.

I presume you have acquired the book "The Granite Man
and the Butterfly"? If not, then don't even try building
it without reading that book. It can be obtained from the
site http://www.projectmagnet.com

I have one of the offered Video's and while the quality
is a bit scratchy, the content is well worth it.

Regarding the actions of the device. One thing to
remember, and Pierre Sinclaire emphasized this point,
is that nothing in the machine is physically spinning.
The effect is a wobble, kind of like a coin that has
been dropped on a flat surface. This effect generates
a functional rotation of the magnetic field compression
though. I am told the RPM of the rotation of the
wobble point is relatively slow. Only around 15 RPM.
This is an interesting comparison with the other
electrogravitic devices which seem to emphasize much
greater spin rates.

Regarding "warming up". I was using this as a casual
term. I do not know if any physical heat is generated.
Neither the description from David, nor discussion with
Pierre indicated any.

It does generate an ionization / plasma effect similar
to the Searle device so I understand. The apparent key
to the working of this device is the metallic "containment"
of the magnetic repulsion field, which builds up the effect.

Both David and Pierre have been working on newer more
sophisticated versions of the device over the last few
years. Unfortunately, I have not heard that either of
them has completed it yet.

Regarding trying it on your own...YES YES YES!!!!
As comes up in discussion here often, we must DO more
experimentation as opposed to just talking about it...
GO FOR IT!
