Jer et all,
In regards to this Newman thing.... I looked at his latest page(s) and
really found a sad story... too much "I was persecuted..." without going
into any details of the technology. Anyway I found it interesting about
him running this "pump" for 24 hours and the watt meter not moving.
Some years ago... I bought plans that adverted the power meter.. while
drawing power from the utility. Guess what! I specialize in =
Electromagnetic
Effects (my real job) and this device is just produces "susceptibility" =
to
the power meter. Power meters want 60 cycle power (50Hz for UK folks)
and then they see current (produces the magnetic fields - guasses) and
that is what the meter reads. Well, if we "chop" the power up.. into a=20
higher frequency, the meters iron core calibbrated to 60Hz saturates and
overheats.. and lowers it's overall permeability. In some cases it will =
rotate
the meter backwards at certain frequecies because of the phasing =
differences
created. =20
Now the Newman motor.. creates very very high spiked pulses.. probably
in the kHz range. I bet that a power meter can not read this.. and if =
it is
the ONLY device hooked up to a meter... well... it may even run =
backwards.
So.. in sumary.. we have to be VERY careful of how we measure "power"
from these so called overunity devices. An integrated oscope =
measurement
would be best... or some type of thermal power measurement device. =20
