more numbers

I was playing with numbers, anyway I was playing with 12 and noticed
that if you add up 12 to 12 again the resultant numbers (as high as I
could bother to go) were numbers that if you added up the digits they
would add to either 3,6,9,12,15 or 18, they normally seemed to go in
order too, I tried this and it only worked when adding 3's 6's 9's 12's
15's and 18's, however adding 9 to nine and again always led to 9!
9+9=18 1+8=9
18+9=27 2+7=9
27+9=36 3+6=9
and it seemed to never stop, but when it does everything adds up to 18,
then to 27 and I guess then on to 63, nine seems to be a very very
stable series of numbers!
