Back in '94, at the symposium on new energy in Denver, I attended the talks
given by John Hutchinson. This guy had spent lots of time developing
combinations of various high voltage equipement that apparently produced
some startling results. He showed us video tapes of these effects, such as
levitation, matter 'warping', and more. At the conference John had some
metal samples on display which he allowed everybody to examine. These were
the most extraodinary lumps of metal I'd ever seen. Some looked as though
they had been exploded from within, while maintaining the most beautifully
delicate crystaline structures. There was a block of aluminium that had
wood inside it, as though a Star Trek transporter had combined the two
sustances. Perhaps one of the most impressive pieces was a bar, I think is
was tungsten, that was tied into a knot. All these samples, John claimed,
were the result of interaction with the feilds emenating from his setup.
Anyway, to the point. While examining John's various metal samples it
occured to me that some of the samples shapes did not look like the product
of random interaction with strange fields - they looked as though there was
design to the randomness, as though a childs mind was given the power to
transform and combine the impossible. John also told an interesting story
of a demonstration he performed for some area of the military, I believe.
The demonstration went well and all were impressed, so the story went, but
it was later found that equipement had'nt been plugged into the mains!
Spooky stuff.
On asking John about what he thought was going on with all this weirdness,
his response was he did'nt really know. His approach to construction and
experiments with his setup was quite intuitive, he said. Much of his work
seemed to involve turning on his equipement and wandering around in what
sounded like a daydream state. If it were'nt for the fact that lots of
people were witness to John's demonstrations, I'de have to say his claims
were crazy. Mind over matter with a vengence <g>.
Last I heard John was going to try to develope a warp drive, ala Star Trek.
Had to love the Star Trek communicator badge he wore at the conference.
Anyone know what he's up to of late, or has he left the planet already <g>.
Regards, Bill.
