The Y2K situation reminds me of the story of the man who
visited his mother, and after dinner she excused herself,
explaining she had to go to church to pray for rain. As she
was going out the door the man said "you realy don't expect
to have your prayers answered do you"?. When she asked why
not, he said you are leaving all the windows open.
The experts in the electric utility say there is no way we
will have electricty Jan. 1,2000. Evidently no one believes
them or with only 13 months left there would not be the over
flow of trivia on the internet.
