Grin...

> but, here in Texas we have an old saying, ...

You know..its late... I made some food and drank a bit too much wine
and I'm feelin pretty good right now, so forgive me if this sounds really silly...but
GEEZ I sure like Texans... you guys are so cool!

You know I've travelled around the States a fair bit but I must say, that Texans are a
breed apart... its almost like you guys never seemed to lose the 'real' American
spirit? Every Texan I've ever met was so darn friendly but sharp as a razor blade at
the same time.... Grin, its just so neat.

As a Canadian, frankly...we generally dont trust Americans too much and well...I guess
our general opinion of Americans is similiar to the Euorpean perspective... but as
far as I'm concerned...Texans are different somehow...why, I don't know.

I knew this guy, a friend actually...he dated my sister...he was taking his doctorate
in Aeorspace physics at Austin... such a decent dude. I think he was from Brayn,
Texas?

Any how, the Province I am from is called Alberta...and apparently Alberta and Texas
for some reason or another are called 'Twin Entities' I guess Alberta is like some kind
of analog to the US's Texas. I've heard that Albertan mentality and Texas attitude are
very similiar and I've been to Alberta / Texas type trade show events back home
(I'm in Redmond, Wa right now...geez I miss home) and supposedly theres some sort of
'big deal' between your State and our Province..... interesting.

Any how take care all you Keelynetters and I know I've said this before in so many
words but I must say it again, grin.... I take my hat off to the likes of Jerry Decker
a true scholar and gentleman of Texas, a man I respect and who to me is the epitomy
of what a good American should be....

And to all a good night!
