Djet a Thermocouple?

Hi Folks!

I meant to post this at work today but forgot. As I was driving to work
today happened my mind was meandering more than usual and I happened to
notice some apartment rooftops that had stacked heat vents.

These looked like a cylinder with about 4 discs stacked on top of each
other but separated by about 2-3 inches. The discs spilled over the
cylinder.

I happened to view them side on and was struck by the similarity to the
Egyptian Djet figure which I had heretofore thought of as stacked
capacitor plates separated by a dielectric.

The djet is sometimes held by renderings of Pharoah or one of the gods
though in the Dendera photos one of the vacuum tubes sits on a giant
djet.

What if instead of being capacitor plates that collect atmospheric or
earth electricity for some unknown purpose, they are really
thermocouples that rely on heat to produce current?

I was thinking the disc plates could be radiators of excess heat or
maybe smoke from burning fuel.

There might even be a possibility that the plates could STILL be
capacitive in nature and a thermocouple mechanism used to produce high
current that was stepped up to high voltage that would be used to drive
a vacuum tube...

I just can't get it out of my head where they would get the power to run
those giant vacuum tubes....
