It is supposed to unlock your consicousness, send it to hyperspace, where
the secret commonwealth appears (elves), and they speak to you in english
and/or greek and tell your amazing things.
Terrance McKenna made it quite popular and many have reported seeing the
'elves'. The experience is said to be indescribable by words and 1,000
times more intense then LSD.
