Does Flanagan sell a 'Q' type unit? Do you think this unit could be self built?

JERRY! I HAVE one of these! Sheesh! I didnt know it was also called
a 'tobiscope'. Mine is made in New Zealand and I think its called 'Accupen'
or something like that... its home in Canada right now... I bought it at this
medical rehab supply shop that was going out of biz... normally they cost
about $400.00 CDN retail or at least they did about 4 or 5 years ago...
this place was liquidating them for about $200.00 and I picked one up.
It does just what you described... always thought it was neat and kinda freaky...
its like a bige, hard plastic pencil with a metal point on one end, has
an internal siren, speaker, and a flashing LED...when you are over a point
the light goes on and the siren stops...then you press this chicklet button
to administer a treatment. It worked pretty good but I found it could take
forever to do a treatment... then I got this other device called a LEVA
that had multiple heads like a hair brush...if you have sore muscles
you just sweep them! its quite amazing...skin turns pink and flushes from increased
blood flow to constricted muscles and you actually can see whole muscle groups
twitch, jump and release... it doesnt actually locate a single given point
like the other one tho... but I must say the LEVA is much better at general pain
relief.... instaneous! The cool thing is it is made in my home town of Edmonton,
Alberta, Canada! Who woulda thunk it!? <g> Their website is;
