Hi Jerry,

I'm not sure what is specifically meant by 'error'. Tesla proposed that
greater energy levels could be created within resonant circuits by, using
these terms, conservatively saving lots of nickels over time. What Tesla
was pointing out had nothing to do with any overall work gain in the
resonant circuit, but rather that the 'bank' could be emptied in very short
time intervals to provide results and effects that could not otherwise be
achieved.

It is possible to have enormous energy levels belting around a tank circuit
that are driven by relatively small excitation levels. This obviously
does'nt mean you have a free energy device just because the input power is,
say, 1 Watt and the tank circuit indicates hundreds of Watts trapped in the
resononant system. Charles Wilde's experiment illustrates this. But you can
extract high tank circuit energy levels to provide an effective short
duration pusle of very high power levels. Consider the capacitor - you can
trickle charge a cap with very small energy levels over long periods of
time - but the 'instantaneous' discharge could kill you. That's the very
effect that Tesla points out.

Regards, Bill.
