I know I'm going to regret posting this so soon, but I got the photos
back of the Dendera crypt with the Egyptian vacuum tubes...laid them out
on a table and they are a good 2 feet across!!! I wish now I'd taken a
couple more of the connection to the djet. But they are quite good.
Now the question, how best to present these photos?? I had them done in
5" X 6" format so they would be as clear as possible.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? I can probably scan them
all in and reduce the combined image to one that will fit across an html
screen, then include a higher resolution, larger version that is zipped
for download if people want the full thing.
I have to get some new software as my old computer had picture publisher
and another program that I used for many images, now the drive is
squirrely and those programs no longer run...so have to do some hunting
for software.
What I need is to know how best to do these pictures. What software
could best do it? I was thinking of scanning each image, then
overlaying them into one giant horizontal composite.
Perhaps cutting out each of the interesting features (there is a stelle
containing writing behind one of them that just might have useful
information or help to describe what the heck is going on, so I will
extract that and some other interesting carvings into separate images).
It is amazing to see how LONG these tubes are, if they are in fact
representing something real, based on an average humans size, these
things must be 8-10 feet long!!
I'll put in a scale on the drawings also so an idea can be given of how
big they must have been, thickness of cable, size of djet, etc..
Other photos of interest that I'd forgotten about were the dual horn
ankh, the gourd with the capacitor plates on it, Ra squatting in a red
ball with two strange tongue like things having out of vases on each
side, twisted ankhs, my favorite pictures of Thoth (which I won't post
as they offer no useful information), what appears to be a sun type of
ball with rays coming out of it that look like lightning bolts and this
ball is hovering between two weird looking stands, some of the large
pyramid base rocks at Zoser with one of us standing near them, the
pyramid magnetic measurements and some shots from the Smithsonian
Industrial Museum.
While I'm at it, might as well get in the Keely photos and the lab shots
from the Philly trip a couple of years ago...sure takes up space but
KeelyNet has about 17MB free which were intended for these photos and
for the KeelyNet files all bundled together.
I hate hot weather and haven't felt like doing much on a computer, but
as we've had rain and its cooler, I feel like pumping up some new
information....that will include some documents that should open up some
new information, one of which has PLANS...really have to get that photo
and graphic manipulation software as I have equations on some papers and
drawings on others which I can just scan, clean up and size to fit the
documents.
Maybe a page can be made that is superwide to hold the scanned images in
their entirety, but they might HAVE to be scanned...it would be neat
also to have an OUTLINE capability for a simpler version for study.
Some might be wondering why this is so important, because these pictures
come directly from the crypt underneath the Temple of Hathor, first one
built by Seti I, roughly 3,000 years ago. I will get all the dates
together to go with it, but its my opinion that someone was trying to
pass on pre-Egyptian technical information by hiding it in this secret
crypt that has survived without being scraped off all these centuries.
