if you like capacitors a 1994 popular science has an interesting blurb. they
have super capacitors now based on the observation that plate area of a
capacitor is related directly to it's power out put so instead of flat
capacitors (capacitors with flat plates) they are making pitted ones with
indenations that increase the surface area.
this could be helpful for electrets or work with t.t. brown anti-gravity
