Well if you check out;

you will see that half of the original test message was not archived
though sent to the list members...
The following is the test2 which had a right arrow > followed by a test
string and it printed in the archive as a quote!! as you can see below;

So, that means if you put FROM as the first word of a line and your
email program parses to add a right arrow as in > From then whatever
follows DOES NOT APPEAR IN THE ARCHIVE.
Dan says the program only looks for one period at the beginning of a
line and that might make it skip whatever follows. Will test that now.
The program added a period to the single period at the beginning of a
line as shown below;

Well, at least we know it won't leave off information after a single
period on a line.
So, at this point, the caveat is don't put From at the beginning of a
line or whatever follows will not be archived...
