Hi All,
Here we are again with inertial drives. I have seen some posts =
recently regarding this method. Just want to say that I do think that =
inertial drives ( a REAL one ) is the way to go for antigravity, and I =
would be pleased to see people from this group to start a collaborating =
effort on making this a reality. By this I mean that we start with plans =
and ideas of a design which does the following:

1- Creates an imbalanced center of mass using rotation/gyros
2- *important* CANCEL'S OUT the reaction forces.

I have been concentrating with this issue of inertial drives since =
sometime now, and have got quite a few ideas and design advancements =
which will hopefully share with the list when I have it planned out. =
What I want to emphasize is the models that are out there, specifically =
the GIT. This simple doesn't work as some people think because of one =
single very important reason : there is a reaction force which goes =
against the proposed direction of resultant force ( point number 2 ). =
Now people might ask how come it works when put in the water. Well if =
you see the pictures of some of these experiments you can see that there =
are Ripples ( waves ) generated by the device on the surface of the =
water. Well now remember how a propeller worked ? it pushed ( or pulls ) =
water in order for it to move. We have the same situation, the devices =
vibrates and has a vertical vibrational component which generates these =
waves which in turn "PUSH" the device forward ( or the direction it =
moves for that matter ).

But don't get me wrong, the inertial device is the way to go, as I =
beleive prof Laithwaite managed to do ( check out =
http://home.dmv.com/~tbastian/gyro.htm) which I think is the single best =
document that I have ever come across regarding this matter. Apart from =
this the only devices which allegedly work are the ones in =
http://www.supersymmetry.com and the lorrey drive, but ofcourse these =
are just allegations and are secret patents.

Anyhow, I just wanted to clarify the point about some of the GIT =
experiments people are doing and claim that it is working. Infact if you =
put any device that wobbles into water it will move into a certain =
direction.

I also want to call on the mathematicians and people into practical =
physics to get something going with regard to a simple basic design =
based on the works of Laithwaite, we could even try to duplicate some of =
his work.
