Hi Gerald!

The Dendera images are in a crypt under the temple, you have to ask this
one old Egyptian about it...Dan and I looked all over that place and
nothing remote...then I drew a crude diagram and asked about 8 guides,
finally one got all excited and took me and Dan to the old Egyptian
guarding this locked door in the floor...I showed him the picture and he
held out his hand..yep, tip time all around, again...<g>..but it was
worth seeing these beautiful COLORED carvings.....Dan and I were amazed
to see these are real images...part of why I went in the first
place...we couldn't go to Abydos because of terrorist activity, that was
about 4 months before the shootings at Hatshepsut and the bombing at
Cairo Museum.

Anyway, yes, you do have to ask about the crypt...the biggest problem is
the walls are only about 3 feet wide so you have to have a special lense
on your camera to be able to pick up these short focus images. I took
sections of the wall hoping to piece them together as the full color
images....plan to post them in the near future...don't even have the
pics developed yet (25 rolls (3 are panoramic) of the Egypt trip) that I
can't afford to process yet...but will do it...don't have the free money
I used to...I'll certainly post the URL when I get them online and with
some anecdotes and experiences, for what they are worth..<g>...
