It's been a long time since I read it, but there is a chapter in
Gurdjieff's All & Everything on his witnessing Tibetan monks use vocal
projections to levitate stones. What makes this different from other
accounts is that I think he tries to explain the phenomena in terms
which might today be more understandable than when he first wrote it.
Might be worth going back to.
