Hi Folks!

Jim Day sent in this totally cool website on a collection of attempts
through the ages to make a perpetual motion machine, along with this

Hello Jerry,

If you haven't seen Randall Woods' website already, I think you might
find it of interest. Dr. Woods is politely skeptical of any kind of free
energy device but his website has a remarkable collection of classic
perpetual motion machines, many of them illustrated by animated
graphics.

Each machine is carefully analyzed and the fatal flaw in each is fully
explained.

Anyone thinking of experimenting with perpetuum mobiles could avoid
reinventing the wheel by studying Woods' examples of what has already
been tried and doesn't work.

Unfortunately, Woods dismisses zero-point energy devices by saying that
no such device has ever been known to work, but I don't recall seeing
any proof of that on his website.

I found it fascinating to watch the self-moving wheels going round and
round just as their inventors intended. The URL for Woods' home page is;

http://prisoner.soe.bcit.bc.ca/rjw/default.htm

That website is full of interesting nooks and crannies, and it took me
an hour or so to see everything.

Regards,

Jim Day
