During the day tomorrow (Friday afternoon C.S.T) the server that hosts
lyghtforce.com, dallastexas.net, millennium-ark.net and about 60 commercial
domains will be off-line for at about 6 hours and possibly up to 24 hours.
The server will be physically moving to a new location. This move
necessitated changing all the domain IP numbers along with the physical
move of the computer equipment of more than 30 miles. The physical move
will be completed within a couple of hours. However it is impossible to
predict how quickly the Internic will get it's records updated so that
email will start flowing again and all the domains will be back on line. If
everything goes as planned the entire downtime will be less than 6 hours. I
will send another notification to all the addressees of this notice when
the server is back on line.
