Try this for yourself with something before making this assumption. On
most occasions people will simply shout "crackpot" and then ignore any
further attempts you might make.
Using the newsgroups is almost worthless. There are well paid debunkers
that troll the groups and pounce on anything unusual. They have great
staying power and will usually outlast any arguement you may engage in.
After all, they are being paid to stay right there and monitor things.
You have to take time out for work and such. They are already at work.
They are there to take away chances for proper exposure of ideas.
They're there to keep newbies from taking up your cause. They have a
very high rate of success. I know this from experience. The NG's are a
tough audience.
As for the WWW, If someone isn't already looking for what you've got,
they probably won't see it and therefore won't bend an ear to it.
Good luck, in any case, should you choose to try for "global exposure".
