Harmaline? Didn't some anthropologists working in Brazil a long time ago
claim that some form of that chemical induces telepathy? (Lots of jungle
alkaloids will make you see things, if taken in quantities small enough to
not kill you, but that particular one let them see things that were later
confirmed to have happened in distant villages.)
