Those who are intent on applying magnetic fields to their brains might want
to pick up a copy of the June '98 issue of Everyday Practical Electronics.
On page 404 there is a construction article for an electronic "Mood
Changer." The project uses four IC's to generate a digital sine wave which
drives a solenoid coil scavenged from a washing machine valve. The solenoid,
is out of a British made Hoover washing machine.
