You may want to check in with Eric Krieg, you must have heard of him,
he debunks "free energy" Anyways type in perpetual motion in your
browser and he'll come up. The " amazing" James Randi has offered a
challenge to the person/company who sells the device you were refering
to, called a golf finder.There was a prosecution around the device when
it was being marketed in other areas, but the "police" didnt get all the
areas that were being hit, and I believe the golf area was one of them.
