Hi Mike!

With regard to your question about any updates on the self-running Binn
machine;

I've heard nothing else about Tony Binn's machine over in England.
Everything that I know of has been posted to the KeelyNet list about it
and is searchable - as to Bessler, I know there is one group of about 3
people working on it in England and there are a couple here in the
states.

Everyone has ideas about it and there is a website which has a couple of
interesting animations, showing how the center of gravity is deflected
by an tilted ovoid type of motion.

>From what I've seen, the biggest problem would be resistance, though
with modern components it would seem to be more a matter of selection of
material and lubricants to minimize the friction. Teflon, dry
lubricants and such.

You'd think if they could build something like that way back in 1712
using crude axle grease, we should be able to duplicate it at least in a
very low power version. Bessler does indicate the weight determined the
torque so something like 80-100 pounds was the max he achieved and that
was with a 12 foot diameter wheel!

What I find so intriguing about it is the relationship to size and
torque, as if gravity, as induced in the weights through the length of
the spokes, makes the size quite critical. But I guess its that way on
any energy generator...i.e. size does matter...<g>..a kind of gravity
tap where the distance of the weight falling under the influence of
gravity determines the ultimate thrust/torque you could achieve.

That being the case and that you reach a critical falling velocity of 33
feet per second, it would be interesting to see if a 33 foot wheel was
the optimum physical size to get the most useable energy from such a
gravity tap.

You want more power, you scale up the design. Since that is the case
with the Bessler wheel, it would seem a tabletop demo wouldn't have any
appreciable power, though most of the people I know who follow such
devices, would be quite ecstatic with just a self-running version.

If I learn anything new, it will certainly be posted, so far, just
watching the confusion and distortions being injected into the F/E field
by the radioactive crackpots...I guess this will be a purification
process, further weeding out the ones who just don't get it...just so...
