The story is true The High School Auctually was awarded on Local Metro
TV a prize (about 2 grand or so)
I believe the TV program was Beyond 2000 or something similiar
if I can remember the program I swas correctly.
The diamonds were only smalland really only useful as cuting edges on
machinery.
