The aether consists of pure massless charge. It's a sea of pure charge.
Mass, being bubbles in the aether, act as a sinkhole into which the aether
flows into (and out of) in a complete circuit. Where this aether came
from, however, is the real question. Hence, the idea of a 'higher' force
-- the difference being that this next medium is completely unlike those
below it. It is responsible for the nature of the aether --- it is
responsible for the nature of space (3 dimensions) and time. That's all I
can tell you of the aether --- until someone can unravel the nature of the
force above it (and coin a damn phrase to describe it, since I'm fresh
out) -- I have given all that I can tell you of it. (I won't say that what
I've said is anything new - just the part about a force greater than the
aether which governs its nature).
