Tesla invented the rotating magnetic field, as in single field, before
arriving in the US. Poly (meaning many) phase came after he had been in
this country, ergo, after he saw Keely's COMPOUND motors that used
multiple acoustic frequencies to push and pull the motor as the wave
train was conjugated to rotate. He then snapped to the use of MULTIPLE
rotating magnetic fields...my opinion at this time...but many I know
agree with it.
What was (Keely's acoustic discoveries requiring fine tuning mechanical
components), what became (Tesla using moving currents at resonance),
what is now (moving currents), what will be (blending Keelys insights
with Tesla and many others to produce practical gravity control and free
energy).
There are several patents, mostly Japanese, which cover ultrasonic
motors that use VIBRATING PLATES. There is even a vehicle design based
on the effect.
Just as an aside, there is also a car which was developed in Lubbock,
Texas in the early 1970's which used a giant vibrating tuning fork to
cause a car to move....linkages are connected to the bars (tines) and
the fork is electromagnetically stimulated like a solenoid. When at the
right frequency, an amazing amount of torque is said to be developed.
The inventor was bought out for something like 3 million and had to
promise silence thereafter...I have the story and need to post it in a
file.
