You know, I think it's great that this topic has been brought up - because
it reminded me of a question I had long since forgotten (I get sidetracked
easy - what can I say?). And that question is quite simple -- if I
understand Mr. Bearden's writings, the aether is analogous to (and in fact
was stated to be) the 'charge' field (or 'electric' field of an
electromagnetic wave). Now if 'electric' fields are supposed to be ripples
in the aether - then the question begs to be asked: what the hell is
magnetic flux, and what is IT'S medium of propagation?
'Electromagnetic waves' propagate through space (I hesitate to say
'vacuum') - but that being so, that raises the question of whether
MAGNETIC fields actually exist in space (since there is *SO* much goddamn
confusion between what is 'magnetic' and what is 'electric').
Frankly I don't think I'd even be ASKING this question were it not for
that fact (that electric charge and magnetic flux are misidentified so
often). Is magnetic flux merely yet another electric field propagating at
an angle to the recognized 'electric field'?
Argh. Semantics games are KILLING me. I need a drink, I'll be back... :)
