Let's remember that in his time frame what he was doing was cutting edge
technology, and damped sinusoids were the 'in' thing.

What I'm thinking is: he had a gas turbine with flywheel with a 1kW
generator
attached. This 1kW is an power output (not energy) rating. In otherwords
to
convert this to energy (as in power meters measure) it would be KWhr or
Joules (1/3.6). So what he might have done is to pull the same amout of
Joules but in a smaller time frame such as a damped type of pulse in
a time frame of <1millisecond. For example the kinetic energy of the gas
turbine flywheel might have 1000J and turbine energy of 300J to keep it
turning and supplied with kinetic energy. The 300J would equate to the
1kWhr rating. So Tesla could extract, with dampled pulses, >300 J in
milliseconds. Depending on the duty cycle, this would equate to 300J/ms
or scaling would be 300,000J/s = 300KW!
I'm not convinced, though, that it would work and that his equipment at that
time could measure peak energy or peak power. It could be, just as today,
that he had some gross errors in his measuring, and understandings.

Yes, this is correct! It was the flywheel kinetic energy that is actually
larger
than the prime mover energy input to the flywheel.

Remember taking out in minute interval higher 'power' (J/s). So 200Hp is
149KW or 149KJ/s. Compress this time to milliseconds so 149KJ/ms
which the generator CAN provide so long as you relax it (duty cycle) and
translate the 149KJ/ms in power we get 149MJ/s or 200,000Hp. I think
this is what he was thinking???

What I'm wondering is the 7M Hp from a capacitor? This is 5,200 MJ/s!
I can see 5.2MJ as energy but power from a cap? That is one whopping
cap! Say 100,000 volts with 52 amps as an output?
