This might have nothing to do with overunity but...

Sure this will happen to a certain extent, hense we have patients. There
are
societies and conferences of specialized and professional areas of interest
where scientists and whoever can gather to converse and brief on what they
are researching. This is good as all can learn what the others are doing
and
incorporate into 'thier' own research. Telsa may have read Keely papers but
so do we.... Tesla just knew and used his information better than most. He
furthered his research by using some of Keely and perhaps others work also.

My philosophy is: if you have an idea and develope it, get a patient or keep
good records and be serious about your research. If you just through out
ideas and do not work on them (documentation) and someone picks the
idea up and furthers the reseach into a working model.... to bad for the
guy with the orginial idea! He should have worked on it and documented
this.... That is just how research is and has always been like this. One
always
has the option that he can close his doors and not let anyone know what he
is doing.... but 9 out of 10... sharing and conversing about the knowledge
with others will yield a better, faster, more useful device/proto that
locked
doors... So... let's continue to share and those that are very seroius
about
thier research... start documenting your work - even take notes from
others...
