I have always admired Tesla. I was in the electric motor rewinding field
for 25 years. It took me a while to draw out a picture of his three phase
motor and alternator and then follow the sinusoidal wave to track what was
happening in the units. I don't know how he ever came up with poly phase.
It's fantastic to me. And try to picture the world with his Alternating
current that can be stepped up and back down at the location. Or a world
without synchronus or induction single phase or poly phase motors, etc.
Yet he went on record as saying that Electrons do not exist.
